Families United will hold a kick off luncheon to provide an overview of the Campaign for Transformation at the Riverview Hospital on August 15th at 12 PM. This meeting is open invitation. Click here to view invitation.
The Campaign for Transformation is focused on raising public awareness and promoting knowledge development opportunities to ensure that all children, youth and young adults with emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges, as well as their families have access to effective family and youth driven services and supports within a system that responds to each youth and family’s culture, unique strengths, and needs as they develop.

FAVOR-Family Advocacy for Children’s Mental and Behavioral Health, Department of Children and Families contractFamilies United will begin to promote children's mental health transformation by sending out transformation email alerts and quarterly electronic newsletters. We will begin to hold public forums starting in September 2008 across the state that will bring families, youth, policy makers, providers and the whole community together discuss special topics in realtionship to children's mental health transformation.
